The Jog for a Dog 5k was a success with over 100 participants and over $1500 raised for the Hocking County Humane Society. The LHS Biomedical Sciences Program and LHMS Running Club would like to thank everyone for the support!
The Chief Logan FFA Chapter recently held its 83rd Annual Banquet. The banquet began with opening ceremonies conducted by the 2016-17 officers, followed by the emblem ceremony, led by freshmen from the chapter.
The LHS PLTW Biomedical Science and Engineering Programs hosted a showcase of student work on May 17. Students had an opportunity to share their capstone projects with parents and local professionals. We are proud of these students and all of their hard work in these programs.

The IED students reverse engineered an Automoblox car. After they redrew all their measured parts in Inventor, they were able to print their 3D model. Not too bad for 5 days of measuring, drawing, rendering and assembling!
Logan High School Theatre will present its final performances from this semester's Theatre Arts Survey and Theatre II classes on Thursday, May 18th, at 7pm in the LHS Theatre.
Seven members of the Chief Logan FFA received there Ohio FFA Degree at the 2017 Ohio FFA convention. These members earned the degree by completing Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE)projects during their time in FFA.
The Final Choir Concert will be May 14th, 3:30pm, in the LHS Theater. Performing will be Chamber Singers, Women's Chorus, Men's Chorus, Symphonic Choir, Assembly Singers and LHS's newest choir - "328" A concert celebrating theme for the year, "Go Light Your World"
The LHS Biomedical Sciences Class of 2017 and LHMS Running Club are hosting the Jog for a Dog 5k on May 20 at the LHS Cross Country Course at 5pm. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Hocking County Humane Society.
