Logan High School will have a Financial Aid Night, Monday, October 22nd, at 6:00 p.m. in the HS cafeteria. The purpose of the meeting is to explain the financial aid forms that are necessary for students planning to attend a four or two year college. The process for applying for financial aid can be confusing. The LHS guidance office hopes to assist with this process. MorraLee Keller will be the featured speaker. MorraLee works for the Ohio College Access Network.

On Wednesday, September 19th the LHS guidance team took 45 of the top seniors in the class to Ohio University main campus. The OU Majors Fair is a great opportunity to explore pathways at OU to achieve a desired career. They learned what requirements are for specific majors of their interest and career connections made in those majors. They talked to students and faculty members in the different departments.
Logan athletes were among over 1500 students in attendance On Tuesday at the OHSAA Leadership Conference held on the campus of The Ohio State University. OHSAA sponsors the conference each year which is built around student leadership.
Congratulations! The Chief Logan FFA Forestry team placed first in the Ohio Forestry career development event, at Hocking College, on Saturday, September 29, 2018. Leading the Chiefs were: Bethany Starlin, 2nd place Justin Wilkins, 7th place Emma Moll, 12th place Brooke Stivison 16th place They completed a general forestry knowledge test, tree specie and forestry equipment identification. They also completed forest product, orienteering, and topography map practicums.

The 2018-2019 Logan High School Key Club is in full swing with new members being accepted. Key Club will meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month and students may attend one of the following times: before school, after school or during period 5 in Room 202. See Mrs. Myers in Room 202 for questions about opportunities and becoming a member.
Logan High School seniors attended a college fair at Hocking College on Wednesday, September 12th. A college fair is an event in which college admissions representatives come together to meet one-on-one with high school students to talk about their respective colleges and answer questions.
