Four members of the Chief Logan FFA chapter traveled to Symmes Valley High School to compete in the Ohio FFA District 10 Job Interview Career Development Event. Teams from across Southeast Ohio competed in the event.
On Thursday, November 8, 2018, six members of the Chief Logan FFA traveled to Gallia Academy High School to compete in the Ohio FFA sub-district 10 Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event.

A list of students eligible for induction into the Logan High School National Honor Society is posted outside of the guidance office. Sophomore students with a 3.75 or above cumulative grade point average, and Junior and Senior studentís with a 3.50 or above cumulative grade point average who have attended Logan High School for at least one full semester are eligible to apply. Students are asked to please stop by and check the list for eligibility.

National Honor Society and the Positive Outreach Committee has been sponsoring Red Ribbon Week from October 29th through November 2. This is an event dedicated to raising awareness for alcohol, tobacco, drugs and violence prevention. It is the nationís oldest and largest drug prevention program, reaching millions of Americans during the last week of October every year.
Logan High School's Parent/teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday November 8th from 3:00pm to 6:30 pm, and also on Friday November 9th from 7:15am to 2:30pm. To schedule a conference, please call the LHS main number, 740-385-2069, and use extension "0" for the administrative office. LHS staff and principals are inviting all parents to schedule conferences for their students.
