"The Logan High School Symphonic Band participated in the District XV Large Group Adjudicated Event on Friday March 9 at Teays Valley High School. The Symphonic Band was awarded a unanimous Superior Rating.
This year, LHS Art Students set a new Regional Governorís Show record for the most students to move through the Regional Contest. The previous record was set during the 2014-15 school year with a record 58 students moving through the Regional Contest. This year, that record was bested by two additional students, totaling 60 LHS Art Students moving past the Regional Round.
On Saturday, March 3rd, the Chief Logan FFA traveled to Marysville High School for numerous CDE contests. Three FFA members competed in the state public speaking contests, while numerous other students competed in the General Livestock, Poultry Management, Equine Management, and Agronomy Invitationals. The state public speaking contests consist of the top two speakers from each district in each category.

On Thursday, February 15th, the Chief Logan FFA Agricultural Power Diagnostics team travelled to Buckeye Hills Career Center to compete in the District 10 contest.
