School Closure
Digital Academy
Submitted by: T. Shonborn
As you are aware, Governor Mike Dewine has closed all Schools for the next 3 weeks as an extended Spring Break. This means Logan Hocking Schools will be closed Monday, March 16 through Friday, April 3, 2020. During this time, the Chieftain Academy will not be taking attendance nor requiring students to work. However, I am strongly encouraging students to continue to work on their assignments as usual. Students in the Digital Academy program have all the resources they need to continue their education and by continuing to work on their assignments, the chance of falling behind academically is much less than those students who do not work.
At this time, State testing will take place when we return to school. This is another reason students should continue to work. However, if this changes, I will let you know as soon as I know.
The school buildings are closed, therefore, I will not be at my desk or near my office phone. If you need me, please send me an email or message through Remind. I will answer as soon as I can.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience,

Sincerely,
Mrs. Shonborn
Chieftain Academy Instructor
