Access from Logan-Hocking website

The Logan-Hocking district provides site license access to Atomic Learning for all Staff & Students. Atomic Learning is a great tool for teaching, learning, and/or integrating various software applications.

Atomic Learning has recently updated their website which is the purpose for this direction sheet.

Remember, Atomic Learning is available under the Web Resource menu on the district website.


Site License access both at school or at home

When accessing Atomic Learning from any school computer, you are automatically logged in...notice the Welcome Logan-Hocking Lo

When accessing away from school, you will need the current district login info:
Username - loganhocking (all lowercase)
Password - loghock7372 (lowercase letters)


Video Tutorials about using Video Tutorials

On the Training/Support tab of the Atomic Learning website there are three videos available under "Getting Started Tutorials."

Overview is a general introduction to new website layout.

Our Tutorials shows you how to use the search features on the Tutorials page.

Resources is about the classroom lesson accelerators available on AL.

There is also a downloadable Getting Started Guide on this page.


Tutorials section changed

Atomic Learning adds new tutorial content almost daily. To make it easier to locate the video tutorial you want they have updated their Tutorials section.

You can search for the general topic you are looking for by using the Search box at the top, or narrow your search by platform & letter at the bottom.


Lesson Accelerators

"Lesson Accelerators teach essential software skills while using tutorial movies to demonstrate, step-by-step, how to create curriculum-based technology projects."

Lesson Accelerators are available for many topics and technology levels. From creating and using a web scavenger hunt to teach basic Internet skills to using Photoshop to create a multilayer magazine cover.


What's the big deal about Atomic Learning?

Providing quality Technology inservice to district staff is very difficult due to time constraints, different interest areas and skill levels.

Atomic Learning solves these problems. You choose what topic(s) you are interested in and procede at your own pace. As you can see to the right, there are over 25,000 tutorial movies on over 100 applications available on Atomic Learning with over 4000 being added throughout the year.
