The Logan-Hocking Local Board of Education recognized several L-H bus drivers on their recent participation in the SE Region ROAD-E-O. Their knowledge of Federal and State regulations and driving skills of a school bus were put to the test with other drivers from different districts.

The Logan-Hocking Transportation Department joins school districts and transporting agencies throughout Ohio and the nation in celebrating the importance of National School Bus Safety Week. This year’s theme, “STAND BACK FROM THE YELLOW AND BLACK!” reminds students to be cautious any time they must cross the street. Students need to cross where they can be seen by the bus driver and also need to watch for traffic.

The Logan-Hocking Local School District will sponsor the Southeast Regional Bus ROAD-E-O on Saturday, May 6, 2006. An estimated 50-75 bus drivers from throughout the southeast region will be participating. The event will be held at the Logan-Hocking Middle School on Maysville-Williams Road in Logan, Ohio.
