The Central Elementary Music Program has been rescheduled for Monday, February 18th at 6pm. Students are to arrive at 5:45pm.

The Central Elementary Music Program scheduled for Wednesday, February 13, 2019 has been cancelled. More information to come at a later date regarding when it will be rescheduled.

Students at Central Elementary are heading into the new year by showing kindness! Kindness not only to their fellow classmates, teachers, and families but also to our local community!

Students at Central Elementary have buddy classes that meet together monthly. Ms. Wilson’s kindergarten class and Ms. Cummings’ third grade class decided to start a kindness club and to do something kind to help others each time they meet.

Central Elementary 2nd Grades chose caroling as their Parent Engagement Activity. They walked from the school to Main Street. What a welcomed surprise these beautiful children were to downtown businesses & public offices, as they spread holiday cheer through their smiles, carefree singing, & innocence. They wished a Merry Christmas to various businesses, the City Building, & the Police & Fire Department.

Central Elementary celebrated its monthly PTO meeting. During this meeting the "Students of the Month" for October and November were recognized. Each student received a certificate, medal and a treat donated by Dairy Queen. We would like to thank these students for doing an outstanding job practicing our school's RESPECT rules.

The students at Central Elementary recently donated over 1,800 food items to the Smith Chapel Food Pantry!

Central Elementary students did a little twist from our traditional math talk today. The students were given 6 digits and using those digits and any operations of their choice, they had to generate an equation that would equal 36.
