The Logan Hocking School District would like to announce the opening of the 2nd Annual Chieftain Academy Art Show now on display at the Maya Burrito Gallery. The show features artwork from students who are enrolled in the Chieftain Academy (digital learning). This platform does not currently have art in the curriculum, so we wanted to give the students a chance to express themselves. All ages were invited to participate and we received entries from students in grades 4th through 8th.
This year the focus was on winter and holiday inspired art. The display runs until February 26th. Hours are Monday through Friday 11a.m.-8p.m. and Saturday 11a.m.-3p.m. We hope you get a chance to stop by the restaurant at 12 E. Main St. and admire the students’ creations.
