Boch Hollow Nature Preserve Visit
Chieftain Elementary
Submitted by: Mr. Rice

On Friday, October 18, the 4th graders at Chieftain Elementary went to Boch Hollow Nature Preserve in Bremen, Ohio. The students played games to simulate the effects of invasive species, went on a hike and identified evidence of humans changing their environment, and learned how to use a compass. At the end of the trip students had to "walk the plank". This was a team-building activity in which one student walked across boards held by their peers. It was a great way to end a wonderful trip!
