March 5-9, Logan-Hocking School District is joining our Breakfast in the Classroom Partners & celebrating National School Breakfast Week! This campaign, themed "I Heart School Breakfast", reminds the entire school community that school breakfast provides a healthy & energizing start to the day for students. LHSD Make-Up Days Revised: March 12 April 3-6 May 24 May 25 (two hour early dismissal) Any additional make-up days will be added to the end of the school year.
Do you enjoy a flexible schedule & working with students? The Logan-Hocking School District is seeking committed substitute teachers to ensure our students receive quality instruction while their teacher is away. You must have a Bachelorís degree from an accredited college or university. Your degree may be in ANY area of study. Substitutes are compensated $95 per day.
After corresponding with the Logan Police Department, The Logan-Hocking School District will resume its normal schedule on Monday, February 26, 2018. As always, student and staff safety is our number one priority! We will continue to provide security services and encourage all community members to attend our Community Forum for School Safety on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 7:00 PM in the Logan-Hocking Middle School Theatre.

This has been an unusual winter season and we have missed many days of school. It is important that make-up days are meaningful and productive days for students and staff, especially before test time. After careful consideration and input from students, staff, and parents, the make-up days on our calendar have been adjusted in order to increase instructional time with our students.
