The Treasurer's office has completed processing refunds for students. These include Preschool, Latchkey, Project SAFE, and camps. If a student has an outstanding debt, such as lunch accounts, fees, etc., the amount of the debt will be deducted from the refund. This may result in no refund for some, otherwise refund checks will be mailed out next week.
Due to businesses beginning to open, changes to the graduation event on Friday, May 22, have been made. Streets, other than the streets immediately surrounding Worthington Park, will be open. However, the Governorís orders regarding social distancing and mass gatherings are still in effect as well as the prohibition of parades (section 13g). Drive up graduations are permitted.
The Logan Hocking School District will continue food distribution through next week. Food may be picked up Monday and Tuesday May 18th and 19th at Logan High School from 11am to 1pm. The last day for food delivery will be THURSDAY May 21st. The summer food program will begin in June. More information will be forthcoming regarding details of the summer food program and locations.
Due to the uncertainty of the 2020-21 school year and how it will be structured, the Logan-Hocking School District will be postponing preschool registration until August. Please watch for upcoming announcements closer to the start of the school year. If you have any questions, please call 385-8517 and ask for the preschool department.
2020-21 Football Cheer Tryouts Information
Registration for children who will be attending kindergarten during the 2020-2021 school year will begin the week of May 18th, 2020. Parents are reminded that children must be five years of age on or before August 1, 2020, in order to be eligible to attend kindergarten in the Logan-Hocking Local School District.
The Open Enrollment period for students wishing to attend an elementary building other than their home school for the 2020-2021 school year is Monday, May 18, 2020 through Friday, June 26, 2020. Applications will be accepted beginning Monday, May 18th at 8:30 A.M. at the Logan-Hocking School District Board Office located at 2019 East Front Street. PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER MAY 18, APPLICATIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE MONDAY THRU FRIDAY FROM 8-11 AM AND 1-3 PM.

Beginning May 4, library books from any Logan-Hocking school library may be dropped off at Logan High School during food distribution on Mondays and Tuesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. In addition, Beginning May 1, library books may be returned during food delivery on Fridays.
