Wendy Garbrandt is our Chieftain Academy Teacher for our Juniors and Seniors.
This is Mrs. Garbrandt’s fourth year with the LHSD as a Chieftain Academy Instructor. Previously, Mrs. Garbrandt taught with Ecot and is a graduate of Ohio University.
She just celebrated a birthday yesterday!! Happy birthday, Mrs. Garbrandt!!
Mrs. Garbrandt has two children. Her daughter is a Senior at Lancaster High School and an avid swimmer. Her son, is an Elementary student who keeps her on her toes, but she wouldn’t have it any other way.
One other thing about Mrs. Garbrandt is that she is a cancer survivor. We admire your perseverance and strength.
Mrs. Garbrandt’s classroom can be located at the Chieftain Center.
“Wendy has taught me so much about digital instruction. She is patient, so smart and funny both with me, and students. Because of Wendy I feel confident working with students digitally. She doesn't back down and she always has an answer, which shows when she is dealing with a parent or student. She truly cares about the students and will go above and beyond to help them succeed. If a student needs help, and can only do school work at night, Wendy will set up a google meeting from home to help a student. I know that I can come to her about anything and she will have a solution. Working with her, I've seen kids graduate that I truly didn't think were going to make it. The students respect her and they trust her.... so do I. “ Kristin Coffman
