ACT PRACTICE SESSIONS – Mrs. Burns
These practice sessions will help all students prepare for the ACT, regardless of when they are planning to take the test. All current 8th – 11th graders are invited to attend.
ACT Practice Sessions will be held over two weeks starting Tuesday May 14.
Sessions will be held:
Tuesday May 14 2:40 – 3:40 (English diagnostic)
Wednesday May 15 2:40 – 3:30 (score English)
Thursday May 16 2:40 – 3:45 (Math diagnostic)
Friday May 17 2:40 – 3:30 (score Math)
Monday May 20 2:40 – 3:30 (Reading diagnostic)
Tuesday May 21 2:40 – 3:30 (score Reading)
Wednesday May 22 2:40 – 3:30 (Science Diagnostic)
Thursday May 23 2:40 – 3:30 (score Science)
Tuesday May 28 11:00 - 3:30 Full-length Mock ACT Test
All sessions will take place in room 119 at the high school.
Students will take all four ACT test sections in a timed, testing environment and then score them. Students will be provided with resource materials that they will then be able to use to self-study for the ACT. The sessions will help to target areas of growth and will help them to understand the nature of the ACT test. The mock ACT on May 28th will give students experience with a full-length ACT.
There is no cost to participate. Interested? Email Mrs. Burns by Monday May 13 at noon to sign up. Include your name and your grade in your email.
