Logan High School
Submitted by: Dani Bell

In Monday's January Board of Education meeting, it became official for the Logan-Hocking School Board, and all present, to publicly welcome Mike Eddy & his family to Chieftain Nation, as the new Varsity Head Football Coach.

Superintendent Monte Bainter explained the process of the interview committee and remarked how there were a total of 30 applicants, with eight of them being highly competitive. Bainter and the board members expressed they are looking forward to seeing Coach Eddy's impact not only on the field, but also in the classroom and in helping guide our students/athletes into being good citizens.

Thank you to all who dedicated time in the interviewing process, as well as to our Board for the support.

Thank you to Teresa Salizzoni, GM of SAM FM/WLGN for interviewing Coach, giving our anxious community an opportunity to get to know him, sooner than later. To hear the awesome interview, click here:

Thank you to Grace Warner & Craig Dunn for the nice photo and article in The Logan Daily News today, also offering a wonderful glimpse into this new asset to our district.
