The following information went home on a Newsletter last week:
At the Logan-Hocking Middle School, we are fortunate to have a clothing and food pantry to help our students who may be in need from day to day. Our students have taken on the task of working daily to help each other through the use of our SHOCKwave pantry, as well as a food pantry.

The goal of the pantry is to get kids to help other Chieftain kids as we have done successfully for the past few years, through community support so that all of our students can feel successful! This year, we will continue to offer clothing, non-perishable foods, personal care items, and school supplies to our students! Students can ask any teacher when they may be in need of an item, as well as Mr. Hacker.

We will continue to collect pantry donations throughout the school year, and items can be dropped off at student services if you are able to share with our students!

This year, beginning November 27 until December 7, the students on our 5th grade SHOCKwave pantry team will be holding a “Pack the Pantry” drive for our middle school students. The homeroom from each grade level that collects the most items for our pantry will be receiving doughnuts and juice the week prior to holiday break! A flyer will be sent home with students in the coming weeks.

Your support is appreciated, and we could not continue to be able to offer things such as this for our students without our wonderful community members!
