Chief Logan FFA Competes in Parliamentary Procedure CDE

On Thursday, November 8, 2018, six members of the Chief Logan FFA traveled to Gallia Academy High School to compete in the Ohio FFA sub-district 10 Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event.
Each team was required to have a chairperson, a secretary, and four members in the event. They had to use two given main motions and five parliamentary abilities to demonstrate how to conduct a proper business meeting according to Robertís Rules of Order. Each member was required to debate a minimum of four times during the meeting. They also each had to demonstrate one of the parliamentary abilities. Wilkins presided over the meeting and Patton served as the secretary. The team placed fifth in the event and earned a silver rating.
