Students in Mrs. Maniskas' first grade class at Central Elementary conducted a science experiment to discover how the air temperature during the four seasons is related to how we dress. Each group measured the temperature of water that represented the air during each season. They had to dress a student from their group according to the temperature of the "air". Then, they predicted which season they had. Next, they created a group poster showing the "air" temperature and how they would dress during their season. Last, students presented their posters to the rest of the class. Students practiced working together and had fun learning science.
